In Memory of Justin Block
Spende geschützt
It is with great sadness that I share the devastating news that my nephew, Justin Block has passed on November 29th.
Those who knew Justin loved his beautiful, kind soul and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Justin had an affection for the arts, especially poetry and music. He loved to share his old and new favorites with his loved ones so they too could experience the happiness and comfort a good song or poem can bring. He had a strong interest in history and politics, calling out injustice when he saw it and advocating for those most in need.
Above all else, Justin’s greatest joy in life was being a dad. We would like to help fulfill the dreams and goals he had for his children.
The funds raised by this page will help offset the end of life costs from his sudden passing and to establish an education fund for his 6 year old twins, Harper and Kingston.
In honor of Justin, our family wanted to share a poem from one of his favorites, Gary Snyder:
The Snow on Saddle Mountain
The only thing that can be relied on
is the snow on Kurakake Mountain.
fields and woods
thawing, freezing, and thawing,
totally untrustworthy.
it's true, a great fuzzy windstorm
like yeast up there today, still
the only faint source of hope
is the snow on Kurakake mountain.
