July 15, 1967 - June 18, 2017, Toronto, Ontario
Josie was an extremely caring and giving person in her personal and professional life. She was a talented and passionate physiotherapist working tirelessly to help those in need improve their quality of life.
For the past few years, she worked at Villa Leonardo Gambin and Kristus Darzs Latvian Home , nursing homes in Vaughan, Ontario.
Some of the residents at these facilities do not have the means nor access to mobility equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs. This was disheartening for Josie to see given her caring personality.
In memory of Josie's compassion for the residents and her love of physiotherapy,

- Cathy, her sister and family Herbert, Erich and Carly,
- Angela, her sister and family Allen, Natalie and Luke and
- Elena, Josie's Mom
will purchase and donate mobility equipment for these two homes in her memory.
In lieu of flowers, we sincerely appreciate anything you can give through this crowdfunding campaign. All funds collected will go to purchasing wheelchairs and walkers engraved with Josie's name.
The plan is to purchase as much equipment as possible with the funds raised and deliver them to Villa Leonardo Gambin and Kristus Darzs Latvian Home for her 50th birthday which falls on July 15th, 2017.
