My name is Chelsea Casagranda; my husband and I are longtime friends and colleagues of Jon and Kathy at Bethel Park High School. This fundraiser is to support Kathy and Giancarlo Gentile after Jon sadly passed away on May 24th. All funds will go directly to them.
A husband, father, son, teacher, coach, colleague, and friend, Jon touched so many of us over the years. As we remember and move forward, let’s try to harness his spirit. Jon never turned down an adventure (sometimes to Kathy’s dismay, hah), and he was always ready with a joke or a laugh. He understood what is easy to forget: life is short; we should have fun, love hard, and not take ourselves too seriously.
The outpouring of love for the Gentile family has already been amazing. Please join me in providing financial support to ease the burden of funeral costs and the many future expenses Kathy will face on her own.
