In Memory of Jeremy Apperson

On Saturday afternoon, August 25, 2018, my best friends husband (Jeremy Apperson) died a hero protecting his precious wife and child. Below I will post her words directly from her facebook page. If you feel lead to help this family in any way possible it would be greatly appreciated. Please be in prayer for The Apperson family in the coming days and weeks as they process this tragedy. Jeremy left behind his wife and 3 beautiful children.

Since I’m finally home and sitting down and I’ve been answering a flood of messages, I’ll address this.

This afternoon the girls went to a birthday party and Jeremy, me, and Hunter went to the Cefo for a drink and gas. While Jeremy was pumping gas a man walked up to my driver window and pointed a handgun at my face. Jeremy saw and pulled his concealed pistol hitting the man once. The man fired an array of bullets hitting Jeremy and the shots were fatal.

Please pray for myself and my kids and my extended family. And I want to thank everyone who has reached out and the friends who have traveled and traveling to be with us. This still doesn’t seem real and I feel like he should be walking in the door any minute.
