In Memory of Jacob Cannon

It is with a heavy heart to announce the untimely passing of a dear friend and kind soul, Jacob Cannon. As I witnessed from being a friend and classmate, he touched the lives of many with his infectious smile, and positive attitude. As you know, funerals impose a hardship not only emotionally but financially as well. His friends and classmates of the Ridgedale Class of 2015 are asking for donations to assist in the cost of the funeral service, and to begin a memorial scholarship in his name. Excess funds raised will go to the continuation of his memorial scholarship. I will be giving this money to Julie, his mother, and we will contact The Marion Community Foundation to ensure that this scholarship goes to a kind and deserving person.
