In memory of Dave Vacant

On October 15, Grand Rapids lost another prominent member of the community. Dave Vacant may not have exactly been considered to be a "stand up citizen," but he had such a profound and positive effect on so many people. It's going to be weird to not see him when you're wandering downtown or hanging out in front of a bar, and the absence of his music will make the city a littler quieter.

The money from this campaign will go towards giving Dave a proper burial or cremation, whichever his family decides. Let's make sure he gets the going away party this man deserves.

Dammit, Dave. We miss you.
