In memory of Darlene Elaine Starnes
Daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, child of God, and dear friend Darlene Elaine Starnes passed away the morning of Tuesday, November 14th from complications related to Sickle Cell disease. Darlene has battled the disease since she was 5 years old, and was told by doctors since then that she didn't have long to live. Yet, she overcame the illness and so many other obstacles in life countless times, always achieving the impossible. Sadly,at age 59 and after a rich and full life that daily overflowed with love and care for others, she has been called to rest and is no longer suffering.
Our hearts are heavy but we are overwhelmed by the prayers and love pouring in from the many lives she touched. We appreciate your continued support as we prepare for this next phase and will give updates on homegoing arrangements as soon as possible.
