In memory of Corban Rushworth
Our family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and offers of support since the shocking news of Corban's death earlier this week, aged just 35.
We're deeply moved by all the memories that have been shared with us or many quiet ways Corban reached out to and supported his friends. Corban will be remembered as a data geek genius; connoisseur of fine taste; a lover of the arts, culture and travel; an avid Leeds Rhinos, AFC Fylde and Birmingham City fan; a talented musician; and a loyal friend.
We love him so much and will miss him terribly.
Corban leaves behind three beautiful children - Ariana, Jonah and Jasper - who will grow up without the support he wanted to give them. In his honour, we have set a memorial fund that will be split four ways - a trust fund (Junior ISA) for each child, and a donation to Autism and Turner Syndrome charities that were dear to Corban's heart. The children will be able to access the trusts when they turn 18, which will hopefully give them some of the opportunities Corban would have wanted to provide for them.
We will announce funeral details soon and look forward to joining family and friends in a celebration of Corban's life.
