In Memory of Carwin J. Purifoy Sr..

On December 9th 2017, a true Angel on Earth was unexpectedly called Home. Carwin J. Purifoy Sr. was known by all to be a selfless, helpful, and giving soul. He left in true form of how he will always be remembered. While assisting a stranded motorist by pulling their disabled vehicle out of a ditch, Carwin was tragically struck by another vehicle and lost his life. He was 27 years old.
Carwin will always be remembered as a devoted family man, faithful friend, and loyal follower of his Lord and Savior. The eldest of Triplets, Carwin was an avid hunter, fisherman, and huge Alabama Crimson Tide Fan - "Roll Tide!" He served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army Reserve from July 2, 2008 thru January 1, 2017 as an 88M assigned to the 206th out of Opelika, AL. He departed the Army to pursue a career in Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning (HVAC), just recently finishing up his first semester. His dream was to one day, open up his own Veteran-owned Hot Shot Buisness.
Carwin is survived by his beautiful wife Britney LeDaun Purifoy, who just recently departed Active Duty Air Force prior losing Carwin. He also left behind 4 young children between the ages of 3 years & 9 months old.
All funds and donations will enable Britney time to rebuild and make her plans, while providing financial security due to the burden of unexpected expenses of supporting her family without Carwin. A loss is tragic at any time, but for Britney it brings on a different kind of stress - Carwin would have been celebrating his 28th birthday the day after Christmas this year.
