In Memory of Brutus Shuck

I am raising money in memory of our sweet Doberman, Brutus, a.k.a. Boobie, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 11/03/22. He was 9.5 years old and beloved more than most could ever fathom. Once called a "Very Handsome Dobie Man" by the vet, he was a treasured member of our little #ShuckZoo and an integral part of our family, the glue that held our pack together.

Every time we walked him, people stopped us to comment on how beautiful Brutus was. But his soul was even more beautiful and he was truly such a good boy who we simply adored (and always will.)

We already miss Brutus dearly and will be donating his treasured, much-loved blankets to the Distinguished Dobermans Rescue. I am also aiming to raise $1,103 in his memory, 1103 for the date he crossed the Rainbow Bridge to join his pug sister, Maggie May. I hope he has the best nest of blankets, perfect health, as many balls and sticks as he could desire, along with a sense of peace, comfort, and the knowledge that he was and is infinitely loved.

More information about Distinguished Dobermans Rescue Inc DDR is a non-profit, charitable organization whose primary mission is to give abandoned Dobermans and Miniature Pinschers a second chance at finding a loving, safe and suitable forever homes. We also educate potential adopters, as well as the general public about these breeds, Doberman myths, the importance of spaying/neutering, puppy mill awareness and the benefits of training classes. We do this in an attempt to decrease the amount of unwanted dogs.
