In Memory of Apollo

My name is Erica. We lost our sweet doggie Apollo last week, and we are doing everything we can

to make sure that the off duty officer who shot Apollo in he backyard will not be a threat to any other animals in the future.

I am starting this fundraiser because I know that we all need desperately to have a place to put our sadness, as well as to grow something positive out of the tragedy. We want to make sure that all the other fur babies in the area are safe, and so we are planning a doggie stop and memorial garden on our street, where we can meet peacefully and get to know each other and support each other. We have also agreed to take donations in Apollo's honor to contribute to the medical costs for other local rescue dogs who have been injured or otherwise need medical attention they and their caretakers cannot afford.

We know that Apollo is still looking down and giving us opportunities to give his life and death meaning, and I want to express my gratitude and love to everyone who has reached out to us in comfort and support .
