In memory of Antonio Salazar

On Aug. 3, after a 16 day battle, one of our own, a City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation employee passed away from COVID-19 complications.  To his family, colleagues and friends, please accept our deepest condolences.

Toño was someone that got along with everyone. He was a friend to many and always willing to lend a helping hand.  He would perform his duties with a positive attitude and always willing to learn new ones.

Toño you will be remembered and greatly missed. May God bless you and keep you.

Toño touched our lives in many ways. Words cannot explain the pain in our hearts for this loss. Many of you have asked how you can help, please feel free to donate to the family in the memory of Toño and his father, who also passed away on Aug. 1 from COVID-19.
