Amy Beth Greising (nee Showalter) of Rochester, died after a brief and sudden illness on Thursday, December 5 at Saint Mary’s Hospital at the age of 44.
Amy was born September 25, 1975 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Sandra (Foss) and William Showalter. She spent her childhood in Alexandria, Minnesota before moving with her family to Rochester. Amy was a graduate of Rochester Mayo High School and Rochester Community & Technical College. She worked at various organizations as an administrative assistant, including The Mayo Clinic, Evangel Methodist Church, and HALCON Furniture.
Amy loved being a mother, and her children, Grace and Jacob, were her biggest source of pride and the joy in her soul. She adored her extended family and was a warm and caring friend. She was funny, empathetic and compassionate. Amy enjoyed sewing beautiful creations, cooking for her children and listening to music. Her memorable laugh lifted the spirits of those around her.
We are raising funds to help cover the cost of the funeral, but primarily to support her children, Grace and Jacob. The family sincerely appreciates whatever you are able to give.
