In Memory and Honor of Sean Sawyer

(Another) Update:

We'll be hosting an informal celebration of Sean's life this Sunday, January 15th, at 12 Noon (and onwards) at Uncle Henry's Bar & Grill, 309 Halstead Ave. Harrison, NY, directly across the street from the Harrison train station. Stop by for a quick beer, nothing fancy, and share your Sean memories with us. We look forward to seeing you all there.

A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, December 20th, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck, New York, 10543.

In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to the American Cancer Society in Sean's name.

Thank you all so much for the incredible support. Our hearts are so full, knowing Sean was so loved.

It is with the utmost grief and sadness that we share this sudden, heartbreaking news. Earlier this morning the kindest man left this world, far too soon. Sean Tristan Sawyer was the best of us - soft, warm, goofy and loving, and far too young to go. A perfect son to his loving parents, Debby and Steve, and a protector and best friend to his younger siblings, Kyle and Cassie. A friend, a great caddy, a cousin and nephew, the most thoughtful grandson to his Grandmother Peggy. Sean loved so strongly, and was so so loved in return. This is unfathomable, and our grief will carry on for years to come. He left a space that could never be filled.

We ask for your support during this trying time, to cover the cost of his memorial and cremation, and any other cost that death brings. But truly, we ask for you to call your children, your siblings and your friends, tell them you love them and hold them close while you can. Your love and outreach is more than we could ever ask for. We are so sorry to everyone who loved him as much as we did, and we hope we can find solace in our love for him, through one another.
