In Memoriam of Tim Southern

On 2/15/2020, Timothy Southern passed away in his sleep at home. Tim graduated from North Carolina A&T in 1999. He worked in operations at Jefferson Lab in Newport News, VA, before moving to Oak Ridge, TN to work as a control room supervisor at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He was especially known for his attention to making things more efficient. One of his favorite saying was KISS:"Keep It Simple, Stupid." Besides a hard worker, he is everything for his family, a dedicated husband and a caring father. Tim is survived by his wife, Ya and his children, Jacob, Owen, and Yealiya. He is also survived by his mother, Margaret and his sister, Amy.

Any donations will be used to benefit Tim's children in their educational endeavors following his unexpected passing.
