Our long time co-worker and friend, Marty Robach, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 19. Marty was a dedicated member of the Van Eerden Team for 37 years. He was a mentor, a friend and a kind human being. Marty leaves behind his loving wife and five children, Michael, David, Kendall, Kristen and Brianne.
His loss is felt deeply by his family and his Van Eerden Family.

1958 - 2018
Martin "Marty" Gerard Robach, 59 of Grand Rapids, passed away in his sleep on Monday March 19, 2018. Born on June 10, 1958 to Vincent and Mary Robach. Survived by his wife of 36 years Kathleen (Smith)Robach, children; Kendall(Jeffrey)Denhof, Kristen (Benjamin)Lemke,Michael Robach, David Robach and Brianne Robach. Grandchildren: Brady Denhof, Peyton Denhof, Harper Denhof, Olivia Lemke, Quinn Lemke and Caden Lemke. Also survived by siblings; Mary Jane (Frank)Prokop, Rosalyn Wolfer, Virginia (Ron)Berg, Stephen (Marilyn)Robach, Thomas(Martha)Robach, Bernadette (Howard)Kamps, Janet Anderton and Michelle(Bob)Ogren.Preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Mary Robach. Marty enjoyed spending time with his family at the cottage, he also loved fishing and board games. He loved his wife and children from the bottom of his heart. Memorial Visitation for Marty will be held Wednesday March 21, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. with a short visitation starting at 10 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Church 224 Carrier St. NE Grand Rapids 49505. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Alphonsus Church.
