In Loving Memory Rishawn (Shawn Shawn) Hendricks

Rishawn Hendricks was a 16 year old Chicago native who had a humble and loving spirit. He was a talented and athletic person. He was loved by his family, friends, and his North Lawndale College College Prep Community. He had a great support system at home with his mother Jaree Noel and sister JaNyah Hendricks. Rishawn and JaNyah both attended North Lawndale College Prep Collins Campus. These two siblings have a bond like no other.

Rishawn was a very goal-oriented and optimistic person. He always wanted to make sure that his family was good. Some dream colleges that he wanted to attend were Duke University, Kentuck State University, or Michigan State. He wanted to major in astronomy and play basketball.

On Saturday, October 22, 2022, Rishawn was outside hanging with his friends and lost his life due to gun violence. No one would have ever thought something like this would have ever happened.

We are asking for help to adequately bury Rishawn and have a nice send-off. Rishawn's mother is currently sick, and his sister works very hard to keep the family together. Any donations that people can give, the family will be grateful.
