My name is Javier Sanchez, and it is with a heavy heart and a voice weighed down by sorrow to announce that in the early morning of October 29th, our world shattered into a million pieces as my son, Tommy Sanchez, became the victim of a cruel hit-and-run accident, just after celebrating his 24th birthday.

Tommy was more than just a name; he was the light in our lives, the irrepressible jokester who found humor in even the darkest of moments. His infectious laughter was a melody that resonated in the corners of our home, and his ability to lift our spirits with his playful antics was a gift we cherished every day.

Tommy had an undeniable passion for life and was a proud Costa Rican, and he channeled it into his love for football and skateboarding. Whether he was out on the field, pursuing a touchdown, or skillfully gliding on his skateboard, his energy was boundless. He was a proud alumnus of Burbank High School, where he had formed friendships and made memories that remained close to his heart.

The sudden and tragic loss of Tommy has torn a hole in our family that can never truly be mended. We find ourselves grappling with the inexplicable pain of losing a son, a brother, a friend.

Today, we find ourselves confronted not only by the immense grief that has consumed our lives but also by the daunting challenge of covering the funeral expenses for Tommy. In our darkest hour, we humbly reach out to you, our community of , for support.
