In Loving Memory of Taylon Vail
Donation protected
Taylon Vail was killed tragically on Friday, April 12, 2019. While his mother and younger brother were traveling to Texas for a regional gymnastics competition, Taylon was staying with his grandparents. In the early morning hours of April 12, as Taylon sat on his grandparents' couch, he was the victim of a drive-by shooting, bullets not intended for him.
A senseless act of violence took a child much too soon, a child who had a tremendous future. Taylon was both a popular student and an exceptional athlete at West Junior High School in West Memphis, Arkansas. He was the type of young man who could make you smile, just because he smiled. He was a caring and loving son, brother, friend, teammate, and classmate. Taylon was truly a champion of this life.
We ask for your donations, love, and prayers, as Tabatha, Jayden, and John, work to rebuild their lives without Taylon. Your donations will support expenses the family has incurred/will incur related to Taylon's death. We also hope that funds will be available to support Jayden, Taylon's younger brother, as he copes with the loss of his big brother.
Tabatha has always worked so very hard to ensure her children had every opportunity imaginable available to them, and while her love and support for her children is so unbelievably impressive, no parent should ever have to navigate a tragedy like this or try to understand and explain why.
Taylon, we LOVE you, and we will see you again. Please watch over your family, your friends, your teammates, and your classmates, and help us to love one another. We miss you, Tay!
