In Loving Memory of Stan Dogil - Supporting the Dogil Family

This go fund me is to help Nancy Dogil navigate the next chapter in her life after the sudden and tragic loss of her high school sweetheart Stan Dogil.

This is an incredibly difficult time for her and her family. While no amount of money can replace him, any contribution can help ease their burdens, giving them space to grieve and begin to find peace.

A man with a strong work ethic, Stan loved his time spent as Service Manager for Select Demo, at their headquarters in Salem, NH. He joined Select Demo in 2019, after spending over 30 years at Sanel's Auto Parts, also in Salem.

The story of Stan cannot be told without mentioning his 34-year marriage to Nancy. They began dating when Stan was 21 and got married 3 years later. Together, they have 3 beautiful children, Ryan, Colleen and James. They raised their children in the same home, creating a second family with the neighborhood.

Stan was a true family man. He was always sure to make time for them and keep everyone in touch. Together, they enjoyed many weekly family dinners, game/movie nights and trips to get Ice Cream, which each of them will cherish just a little more now. He was also his family's personal mechanic and handyman. Stan was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it, family or not.

Stan was what one would call a car fanatic. He enjoyed working on and driving his over 24 different muscle cars throughout the years, as well as taking them to countless car shows and cruises. Through these shows he touched the lives of thousands across the country becoming good friends with many of them. He was a proud board member of many clubs; the latest being the Saleen Club of America and Nor'eastern Pontiacs. Another passion of Stan's was his love of his favorite sports teams, mainly the Yankees and Patriots. He enjoyed watching nearly every game with his family, which of course led to some yelling at the tv.

Stan was also a man of faith, attending mass as often as he could, and ending each night with a prayer. He also believed it important to instill his Catholic values onto his family, which included pursuing the common good, believing in the dignity and value of people, and a commitment to one's community Stan was a pillar of the Salem community. He could not go anywhere without seeing somebody he knew, and was unable to resist striking a 20-minute conversation with them. He was a coach for multiple teams in Baseball, Softball, and Basketball when his children were growing up. Even after his children stopped playing, he stayed on the Salem Youth Baseball and Softball boards for multiple years along with coaching teams that needed the help.
