In loving memory of our sweet SUSIE

Hello my name is Heather Iese this fundraiser is in honor of my sweet sister Suzzane Anau Umufuke Fisi better known as just Susie. All proceeds will be used to help lay Susie to rest. Sunday November 7th we found out she passed suddenly and unexpectedly from COVID at just 37 years of age. She leaves behind a young husband Sungalu and two young children Hau and Boubou pictured below. They were totally not prepared for such a loss let alone funeral costs.

Susie was a light in a dark world. I can’t put into words what she meant to us but since her passing one reoccurring theme from all who knew her was that she brought so much joy and laughter. She had the most contagious laugh and she loved to burst into song everywhere she went. Susie loved genuinely, gave generously and always made it a point to be present. It’s hard to believe she will longer be around.

Last year in 2020 of October we stood by her-side and helped her bury her mom who died of breast cancer. This year November 2021 who would have known “Sus” that we would be laying you to rest just 1 year later. My heart hurts because I know you must have tried with all your might to stay a little long for your two young babies and my bro Sungalu.
