In Loving Memory of Nina M. Dierolf

Donation protected
Nina Marie Dierolf, 26, returned to her heavenly home on March 28, 2018. For the last two years Nina battled with severe acute renal failure and throughout her life, suffered from depression. Through these tough obstacles, she found the time and energy to make others laugh and live life to the fullest. Those who knew her well can confidently tell you that she was too sweet and kind for this world, so God gave her, her wings back.

Nina always had a rare eye for beauty. She was to talented. Everything she touched turned to gold. Whether it be a blank canvas or a head of hair, Nina miraculously breathed life into everything. She appreciated a good laugh, prank videos, coronas with extra lime, 90s hip hop, and the ocean. Though, she was most happy when she was jamming out to JLo and Mariah Carey on GNOs.

Mostly recently Nina wanted to go back to school to become a nurse. She, even in her darkest days, wanted to help others. In her dream world she would have been a nurse, human right activist, actress, and professional singer. This world was too small and too close minded for her. No one understood her song or saw colors the same way she did. In Nina’s words, “Tomorrow is not promised. With that being said fill your hearts with love! Love on as much people as you can. Keep a healthy and positive mind. Try not to judge. I know no one is perfect and I for one not even close but strive to be the best person you can be! Keep God close.”

Nina was born to Yun Chang Nam and William Won Dierolf, in Seoul, South Korea on April 25, 1991. She is survived by her Parents, her loving step father Seong Nam, her younger sisters, Nicole Dierolf and Victoria Nam, her brother-in-law Andrew  Kim, and loving friends.

During this time of hardship and unbearable loss, we ask for your support to help Nina’s family cover the memorial service, funeral, burial site, and family travel expenses. Any remaining donations will go towards research at the National Institute for Mental Health and the National Kidney Foundation.
