In Loving Memory of Luis Paredes Sanchez

On December 25th, my brother, Luis Paredes Sanchez, passed away due to health complications from COVID-19 in Lima, Peru.
Luis was a loving family man, who came to the US in the 1990s to provide for our family in Peru. He left the US in 2010 to go back to Peru to take care of his wife and children. Shortly after, his wife was diagnosed with lupus and sadly passed in 2018 at the age of 40. My brother became a single father and did everything he could to make sure his children were taken care of. He loved his children and his entire family very much. On December 18th, Luis was admitted to the hospital with shortness of breath and suffered a heart attack. He was able to be resuscitated and was put into a medically induced coma. On Christmas, he suffered another heart attack, but could not be resuscitated and sadly passed away. My brother was 52 years old. Luis leaves behind five children: Marina , Joaquin, Jocelyn, Frida, and Gerardo. My family and I kindly ask for donations to help with funeral costs and arrangements. All funds will be dispersed to my nieces and nephews in Peru, who are taking care of the arrangements. Any donation of any amount is greatly appreciated. We thank you kindly.
El 25 de diciembre falleció mi hermano Luis Paredes Sánchez debido a complicaciones de salud por COVID-19 en Lima, Perú.
Luis era un hombre de familia cariñoso que llegó a los Estados Unidos en la década de 1990 para mantener a nuestra familia en Perú. Dejó los Estados Unidos en 2010 para regresar a Perú para cuidar de su esposa e hijos. Poco después, a su esposa le diagnosticaron lupus y, lamentablemente, falleció en 2018 a la edad de 40 años. Mi hermano se convirtió en padre soltero e hizo todo lo posible para asegurarse de que sus hijos fueran cuidados. Amaba mucho a sus hijos y a toda su familia. El 18 de diciembre Luis ingresó en el hospital con dificultad para respirar y sufrió un infarto. Pudo ser resucitado y fue puesto en coma inducido médicamente. En Navidad, sufrió otro infarto, pero no pudo ser resucitado y lamentablemente falleció. Mi hermano tenía 52 años. Luis deja cinco hijos: Marina, Joaquín, Jocelyn, Frida y Gerardo. Mi familia y yo pedimos amablemente donaciones para ayudar con los costos y arreglos del funeral. Todos los fondos se destinarán a mis sobrinas y sobrinos en Perú, quienes se están encargando de los arreglos. Se agradece enormemente cualquier donación de cualquier monto.
