In Loving Memory of John Holmes

If you knew John Holmes, you knew his contagious laugh and his sweet smile; his willingness to help others and serve his community; and the bright, shining light and beautiful soul that he was. John served as an EMT and was passionate about the opportunity to save lives and take care of others. He was a beloved member of the A&S Pork Store family and Our Lady of Grace parish. There, John was an active member of Boy Scout Troop 376 and loved camping and exploring with his friends, as well as serving his community in so many ways. John endured a difficult path through life but still achieved acceptance to the Masters Degree program for Social Work at Fordham University. He wanted to enter into Social Work to express his lifelong passion for helping those who may be struggling in life and bringing smiles to everyone around him.
John Holmes passed away on the morning of Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at age 31. His family and friends are heartbroken by the loss. John was a beloved son, brother, and dear friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all.
Friends of his family have organized this page to help raise money for his funeral services. We would be honored to lend his mother, father, and little sister a helping hand during this difficult time.
