In Loving Memory of Janice Procter

Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Janice Procter.
Janice leaves behind her loving husband, Colin and her devastated family, friends
and work colleagues.

Janice tragically lost her son, Pte Michael Tench due to a roadside bomb in Iraq
in 2007. Since then, she has campaigned tirelessly, along with other bereaved
families of fallen soldiers to bring about many changes. Janice, along side others, is part of Sunderland's history. She campaigned for the beautiful and poignant
'Wall of Memorial' which stands today in Mowbray Park, Sunderland as a lasting
reminder to honour the regions fallen soldiers.

All her family are extremely proud of her accomplishments and also her many
fundraising efforts and organised events which went towards her Armed Forces Charity, for which she was patron of. This charity has helped many ex-service
members.

A truly remarkable and special woman who turned her sadness into something
worthwhile for the community.

The family would respectfully ask if you would like to donate to this page to
honour Janice and her hard work over the years. Fifty percent of the funds raised will be donated to the Armed Forces Charity, the other will help towards funeral
costs. Any help will be gratefully received.

Funds will go into the account of Lynda Scanlan on behalf of the family.

Thank you in advance.

Rest in peace Janice x
