With broken hearts and unimaginable sorrow, our family is asking for your love, prayers, and support as we mourn the tragic loss of our beloved Emirah Overstreet affectionately known as Emmy, whose life was taken on November 3, 2026, at just 18 years old.

Emirah was a beautiful daughter, a loving big sister, a cherished family member, and a bright young woman with so much life ahead of her.

She was vibrant, bubbly, hardworking, loving, and unapologetically herself. Emirah loved fashion and expressing her personality through bold, beautiful colors. She had a style all of her own and a spirit that made her unforgettable.

But what made Emirah truly special was her heart.

As the oldest child and only daughter, Emirah carried responsibilities far beyond her years. She was devoted to her mother and younger brothers. At a young age she began working towards building her future. Emirah believed in working hard and helping her family. She contributed to household expenses, helped put food on the table, and stepped up whenever her family needed her.

At only 18 years old, she was already making a difference in the lives of those she loved.

Her mother didn't just lose her daughter. Her brothers lost their big sister, and their family lost someone who helped hold their world together.

No mother should have to experience the pain of burying her firstborn child. And no family should have to face the emotional and financial weight of such a devastating loss alone.

We are creating this fundraiser to surround Emirah's mother and brothers with the same love and support that Emirah so freely gave them.
