In Loving Memory of Danny Nelson

It comes with great sadness to announce that our beloved dad, Danny Nelson, was a victim of a hit and run accident on Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Staten Island, NY. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to so many. Our father had the biggest heart of anyone we’ve ever known. He raised us two girls like we were the stars in the sky. He would give up anything he had to provide for us. That was the man he was. He always told us how much we meant to him and never let us doubt it. Our hearts ache to think of never watching him laugh his full bellied laugh again while drinking a few pots of coffee together...or hearing him crack his inappropriate jokes...never seeing him dance the huckabuck or hear him quote Donnie Brasco. We’ll miss his never ending drumming on the table and his love for great music. We love you, daddy...and we are so sorry!
