In loving memory of Chrys Carvajal

Hi, my name is Jennifer Ramirez and I’m fundraising for the funeral cost and expenses for my brother Chrys Carvajal. He was one of kind with a pure soul. Chrys was one to make people laugh and smile. He put his family first, and did everything he could to make us all proud. Chrys was full of life, with a bright future ahead of him. He was an active solider of the National Guard and had aspiring dreams to become a Police officer one day.

Chrys was murdered Saturday July 3 in the streets of Chicago, 6 days before his 20th birthday with only 1 month after returning home from basic training at fort Jackson. We lost an amazing son, brother, & friend who will be greatly missed by many. Chrys will be remembered as a hero with a big loving heart, who made us very proud. My brother left us with many beautiful memories that we will cherish forever.

Hola, mi nombre es Jennifer Ramirez y estoy recaudando fondos para el costo del funeral y los gastos de mi hermano Chrys Carvajal. El era un hijo de bien con un alma sana y pura. Chrys era uno para hacer reír y sonreír a la gente. Puso a su familia en primer lugar y hizo todo lo posible para que todos nos sintiéramos orgullosos. Chrys estaba lleno de vida, con un futuro brillante por delante. Era un soldado activo de la Guardia Nacional y aspiraba a convertirse en oficial de policía algún día.

Chrys fue asesinado el sábado 3 de julio en las calles de Chicago, 6 días antes de cumplir 20 años y solo 1 mes después de regresar a casa del entrenamiento básico en Fort Jackson. Perdimos a un increíble hijo, hermano y amigo al que muchos extrañarán mucho. Chrys será recordado como un héroe con un gran corazón amoroso, que nos enorgulleció mucho.
