In loving memory of Christian Ledman

Donation protected
I am adding an update here with additional details and an additional ask to continue to support Christian's family as they lay him to rest.

As more details of Christian's tragic accident come out it seems the accident took place around 10:30pm on the 20th. Every life that Christian touched changed at that moment. There is a makeshift memorial honoring Christian on the 700 block of Old Philadelphia Rd in North East.

David and Katie began to make plans today to honor Christian's life in memorial. As details are confirmed I will post them via this page. The cost was significantly higher than I anticipated. I updated the goal and just ask to please continue and share this post. I know the love Dave and Katie has felt is overwhelming and amazing.

David is my cousin but I would never consider him that. He is my brother! My memories will always be Dave, his best friend Steve, his brother Chris and I doing everything we could think of together or within earshot. It is heartbreaking for a parent to lose a child. I can't even begin to imagine losing a child at the beginning of their life with so much promise ahead. My hope for Dave and Katie is that they can focus on themselves, their hearts and find hope and healing after such an immeasurable pain.

I know they will be okay. I believe no parent can ever imagine doing what they are being asked to do now and no parent can plan for such a thing. My hope is this money helps them focus on celebrating Christian's life in the most amazing way and their own healing which will take time.

To those who have given, or prayed, or wept, or loved, thank you so much and please continue to share...

(Original Post)
This morning at about 3am we said goodbye to Christian Ledman. Christian was about to enter the Army and serve his country, making a life he could be proud of. Christian was kind and quiet and loving. He passed in tragic accident and his family is utterly devastated. There’s no way a parent can plan for a tragedy like this and my hope is to help with some of the financial burden so they can care for each other and themselves. His father Dave was my cousin but like a brother in every way. Please if you find it in your heart help to support them. All proceeds raised will go directly to David Ledman in support of expenses for Christian’s passing.
