In Loving Memory of Carmen Quinones

Donation protected
It is with great pain in our hearts that we announce that one of the most amazing persons in our lives has gone on to her eternal resting place with our Father in heaven. Wow how do I even start to explain how much of an amazing human being our beloved Carmen was? To me she was an amazing aunt, my father's best friend and a person who never missed a beat in my life! She was truly one of a kind. My Titi that I will never forget.  Carmen was an excellent wife, amazing mother to her two nieces, and loving grandmother to her 5 grandkids. Carmen was loved by all of her siblings, in laws, nieces and nephews, cousins and so many friends! To know her was to love her! The doors to her home were always open to everyone and anyone, and if you walked through those doors she was sure to offer you food and drinks. She was full of joy and laughter and always saw the best in people and in every situation. I've never met a person with so much compassion. She couldn't even hear of another person suffering or going through something unfortunate without shedding tears.  Although life tossed her many curveballs you could always catch her with a smile on her face and gratefulness in her heart.  She had a heart of gold!  Carmen enjoyed music, especially parrandas, playing dominoes and occasionally visiting the casinos but most of all she just enjoyed having company and being around loved ones.  Carmen was well known and very loved in her community of Meriden Connecticut.  Carmen fought a long fight, she loved life! But God saw it fit to take her home today October 8th. We are very saddened to not be able to do this thing called life with her but at the same time we are glad that she is now free of all her pain and suffering. The pearly gates of heaven must be thrown wide open for her. All of her loved ones who have passed before her must be welcoming her with so much love! The angels must be singing songs of praise as an angel has gained her wings. A beautiful person only deserves the best, this is why we are asking you to please consider making a donation to give her the beautiful farewell she so deserves!  Between Tio Chucho, Sara, Ozzie, my siblings Paco and Doris and myself we have been able to raise $6,000 for the funeral expenses. Unfortunately the expenses are about $12,000, we are asking to see if you can find it in your heart to donate whatever you can to help us give her the service and burial that she deserves. Any little bit helps and we will forever be grateful to you and your family. May God bless you in your giving and return it to you tenfold.  In the case that we collect more than our goal, all extra funds will be given to the surviving husband, Felo Quinones. Any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to myself (718) [phone redacted] or my sister Doris (347) [phone redacted]. With love Christina Carmen's niece
