In Loving Memory of Alberto Escoto

Last Saturday I received a call with news that no heart should ever have to endure. Our father was struck and killed by several vehicles on his way to the bus stop in El Paso Saturday morning. We are heartbroken. His unexpected and tragic loss has been greatly felt by so many of us that love him. My father was full of life, charismatic and joyful. Everyone that encountered him heard stories of his life and his undying faith. 

My father’s brothers and sisters will be traveling from Florida, California, and Guadalajara to El Paso. His wishes were that his ashes be taken back to his hometown of Guadalajara to be buried with his parents. Thank you all for your texts, messages, cards and phone calls - your love has blessed us and we are thankful for you. Many of you have asked how you can all help during this time, so we have created a fundraiser that will help our family with his services and unexpected expenses. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we move forward with this long process and travel from many different places to gather in El Paso to honor my father’s memory. His stories, his songs, and his memory will live on forever in our hearts.

His memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Perches Funeral Home, 4946 Hondo Pass Dr. in El Paso, Texas.
