In Honour of True

When tragedy strikes, the community comes together in love and support for those affected. On April 14th, 12-year-old True Mullen chose to leave her family and friends as her young life became too much to bear. True was a beautiful, creative, intelligent and sensitive soul, greatly loved by her family and friends. My name is Carole Welmers, and this fundraiser is to provide the Mullen/Harvie family with support during this heartbreaking time. The time to heal without financial worry is the greatest gift we can give them during this crisis. Funds raised will assist with funeral expenses, time off to help the family heal and costs incurred. Any additional funds will be donated to raise awareness about childhood mental illness and suicide, allowing True’s light to shine and help others in need.
