In honor of our sister, Alyssa

Sisters are different flowers from the same garden. Nothing could have prepared us for what the privilege of being your sister would do. And nothing could have ever prepared us for the immense devastation we feel now that we’ve lost you. On January 26, 2018, our sister Alyssa, passed away suddenly. Not only was she our sister, but since day one we have been best friends. From tire swing fights and “Pooh sticks” at Birmingham, to late night chats and pumpkin-knapping every Halloween, we have so many memories, but it will NEVER be enough.
Alyssa was beautiful inside and out. She was intelligent, passionate, stubborn, big hearted, funny, kind, and she loved harder than anyone we have ever known. Losing her created a void in our hearts that will never be filled. Her wings were ready but our hearts were not. She truly is our angel and will be remembered as a symbol of love, loyalty, and respect.
Alyssa leaves behind a beautiful 7 year old boy, Jace, who she loved with all of her heart. She also leaves behind us, her three sisters, her two brothers, her loving parents, and an entire family who loved and only wanted the very best for her.
In Alyssa’s honor, we are asking for donations in place of flowers to help cover funeral costs and other expenses. Please consider donating if you can. Any additional donations will be given to charity in her memory. Goodbyes hurt the most when the story was not finished. Spread your wings and fly high, beloved sister. The greatest gift our parents have given us was YOU ♥️
