In Honor of Julius Thompson -Jay Thompson Father

An avid sports enthusiast, attorney and NFL agent, Julius L. Thompson, Sr., Esq. lived in McKinney for nearly 20 years. As a child, he loved sports and idolized NBA Basketball Hall of Famer, Julius Erving (Dr. J), and Dallas Cowboy running back, Tony Dorsett. In junior high and high school, he played football, basketball and ran track. As an adult, his passion for sports expanded to include golf,. Academic excellence and civic duty were central to who he was. These passions and pursuits converged with his professional and social activities. Julius passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 suddenly and unexpectedly but had lived to intentionally make a positive difference in the lives of others. For that reason, his wife, Christie, and family are honoring his legacy with this fund raiser to support the McKinney Boyd High School Booster Club.
