In Honor of Joshua Daniel Brown...

We ask for your support and donations for our late friend, Joshua Brown. The 13 Prime Steak Restaurant Family and Friends are asking for donations to benefit his dad, Stephen M Brown, of Friant, CA. Stephen will receive a check from 13 Prime Steak for the net amount of the funds raised on GoFundMe to pay for his son's funeral and memorial expenses. The restaurant will also contribute and is offering to help coordinate a memorial service for Josh.

We lost a friend, co-worker, and son. Josh tragically passed away on October 20, 2022, at 32. He is survived by his father, Stephen Brown of Friant, Ca.

Josh was employed at 13 Prime Steak, where he worked as a prep cook since 2019. Every morning, rain or shine, he would ride his bike to work to start his day. Josh worked alongside his co-workers, who were also his friends. Josh was very dependable and enjoyed listening to music as he prepped for the evening service.

Josh was a kind, loving, and caring friend. He was a dedicated employee who also worked at HoPPk. He put his all into every dish he created. Josh cared so much about his workplace and job, but most importantly, he cared about his coworkers. He treated everyone as a brother or sister.

We weren't just co-workers to him, we were his family, and he was our family. If anyone needed help with work, he would extend an offering hand; if we needed an ear to listen, he would immediately sit down and listen to all our life problems.

Josh Brown is the kind of friend that everyone needs in life. He loved going out and hanging out with friends and always loved talking about his ambitions in life. He loved working on cars and talking about them, and he never had a dull moment. We all knew him to be a happy person no matter what. All his friends know him as jb.

The shocking news of his passing is felt by every person attached to him inside and outside the restaurant. It is only fitting to honor Josh and help his family with funeral and memorial expenses.

No one plans to wake up and be taken so suddenly, but we know Josh would appreciate every effort his co-workers and friends provided to help his family get through this tragedy. He will truly be missed by all but never forgotten. Rest easy JB.
