Green Women Needs Your Support

My Name is Stephany. I am the Founder of Green Women, a non-governmental environmental Conservation organization. The concept of Green Woman is to tackle these problems by reinforcing the ideas and concepts of sustainable development, circular economy, and environmental preservation.

We do this through initiatives including:

-        Supporting the green business ideas of others, through consultation for the sake of improving and scaling their businesses
-        Opening virtual conference spaces where people can share their knowledge and business ventures
-        Deliver courses and workshops where people can learn and share these concepts. 

These and other initiatives all have the aim of helping one another launch their business ideas and create a central platform where we can all collaborate with one another.  As a united group of environmental professionals, we engage and support one another in the following areas:

-        Renewable energy
-        Environmental Engineer, Biology
-        Environmental education
-        Green businesses with ethical products with positive environmental impact, promoting sustainable ventures and projects of different people so that they know it locally or internationally
-        Circular Economy
-        Environmental law and legislation

Due to the recent problems with the economic crisis that is coming in Latin America and the Caribbean due to COVID-19, there is an increase in environmental related issues, such as the lack of funding for environmental related businesses, lack of environmental education, climate change problems, a higher cost of natural raw materials, problems with the issue of wildlife, etc.  With more funding, we can generate valuable opportunities to help introduce and undertake green and sustainable businesses, have better digital infrastructure to hold courses and conferences, and set up a legally constituted and physical location in Colombia. For these goals, we need your help because with your donation we can do the following:

-        Process the paperwork and fees necessary to be a legitimate foundation based in Colombia.
-        Set up an official website (including hosting, domain name, development of website and social media campaigns) where a platform can deliver workshops, courses, and fundraising, while reaching people from all over Latin America and the world. 
-        Manage the implementation of sustainable green business projects in areas of scarce resources or rural areas that are being hit by the economic crisis, in this case in located within the country of Colombia.

Regarding the various projects we want to support, we have two examples of the many ventures we support: 

-        A project to recycle and reuse paper in educational institutions with scarce resources, so that they can be sustainable with their raw material and help reduce costs for the institution and parents. 
-        The management of urban gardens in low-income areas for the cultivation of vegetables for food.  This would be both for the community's own consumption, as well as selling these vegetables to generate income.

It is Green Woman’s belief that there is light in the world for present and future generations. Your donation will be an important seed for this organization and the ideas of green entrepreneurs all over Latin America. It will not only help promote environmental education; it will also raise awareness in industries, develop sustainable and ethical products with positive environmental impacts, generate jobs and a better quality of life for all.

Mi Nombre es Stephany Soy la Fundadora de Green Women una organización de Conservación del medio ambiente no gubernamental. Debido a los problemas recientes con la crisis económica que se viene en América Latina y el Caribe por el Covid -19, falta de educación ambiental, cambio climático, concientización y valorización de las materias primas naturales, problemas con el tema de la fauna silvestre, etc. 

Decidí ayudar a que conozcan el mundo de la sostenibilidad verde, reforzando las ideas y definiciones de los conceptos de Desarrollo sostenible, economía circular y preservación Ambiental.  abriendo espacios de conferencias para todas las personas que deseen compartir sus conocimientos e emprendimientos sostenibles y también compartiendo problemáticas de los diferentes países con el objetivo de ayudarnos entre todos y creando un espacio de retroalimentación en una página de red social que se desarrolle, estas mismas conferencias con expositores de diferentes países de América Latina y el Caribe en las siguientes áreas: 

Energía Renovables, 
Ing. Ambiental, Biología, 
Educación Ambiental, 
Negocios verdes con productos éticos con impacto positivo ambiental, promoviendo emprendimientos sostenibles y proyectos de diferentes personas para que lo conozcan a nivel local o internacional. 
Economía Circular, 
Derecho y legislación ambiental.

Debido al potencial y la positiva respuesta de la gente de América Latina ya no fue ser yo sola con Green Women, Sino, que se consolido un grupo diverso   de mujeres y hombres ubicados en diferentes países con el mismo objetivo y fue sumando a no solo ser conferencias sino, abriéndonos la oportunidad de desarrollar cursos y talleres donde la gente pueda aprender de manera rápida y eficiente estos conceptos, generando apetito por generar productos ecológicos, gestionando proyectos en áreas con escasos recursos  y conciencia Ambiental. Generando una valiosa oportunidad a la población de ayudar introducirse y emprender en negocios verdes y sostenibles, concientizar a las industrias a que desarrollen y producto sostenible, ético con impacto positivo ambiental, generando empleos y una mejor calidad de vida.  sobrellevando el post Covd -19.

Es por ello que decidí consolidarla de manera Legalmente constituida y física en Colombia. Para eso necesitamos de tu ayuda porque con tu donación podremos hacer. Primeramente, los procesos de papeleos en la gobernación. Segundo montar la página web oficial donde se abra una plataforma para generar los talleres y cursos donde llegue al alcance de las personas de toda América Latina para que puedan adquirir este conocimiento que puedan ser sostenibles en áreas de escasos recursos y Tercero para gestionar proyectos de fomentar negocios verdes de manera local a nuestro alrededor en áreas que necesiten ayuda actualmente. Queremos que sea en el menor tiempo posible poder concluir estas primeras bases para empezar a movernos y que por lo menos el 2021 no sea tan duro el tema de la crisis económica. 

El mundo ya cambio debido al covid – 19, Como Latina y representante del grupo nuestra voluntad es que haya luz en el mundo para este presente y las futuras generaciones. Tu donación será una semilla importante para esta organización ayudará no solo ayudará a promover la educación ambiental, también beneficiará a impulsar a emprender negocios verdes.
