Imogen's Skomer Island Wildlife Pentathlon

Hello, my name is Imagen Ruth Lloyd Kingston and I’m 10 years old. This is my fifth year of raising money for local nature projects in memory of my grandfather, Pepper, who loved nature. 

 

On May 5th I’ll be trying my first Pentathlon!! Starting at 7.30am, I’ll be:

Running 5k to Carmarthen 

Rock climbing on the Pembrokeshire coast

Horse riding along Pendine sands

Kayaking on the Tywi

Cycling home! 

 

With no visitors to the islands off West Wales because of Covid, I hope this year’s much needed funds will go towards a super exciting project to help the wildlife on Skomer. I can’t wait to visit and see what my money can contribute to! 

 

Previous years I have helped raise money towards a new roof for the Pembrokeshire Hogspital, improving local footpaths, new nest boxes for the Manx Shearwaters on Ramsey Island, and last year it was the live cams we were watching during lockdown- the puffins are my favourite! They are so cute!! 

 

I love climbing trees, outdoor adventures, campfires, animals and doing what I can to help our natural environment. THANKYOU for your kind donations!
