IMMIX Dance Project Presents: Vignettes

IMMIX Dance Project is producing our very first full-length performance. We were born out of a desire to collaborate with local artists in an effort to grow both individually and together, focusing on fostering the arts for Hartford and the surrounding area.  

Our four directors, Lindsay Castonguay-Hany, Tessa Grunwald, Christine Perry, and Meghan McDermott work equally to bring a unique quality of movement and perspective to our art. We have been dancing together for many years and have a strong connection both in the studio and out.  Our friendship and genuine admiration of each other makes us stronger as we generate ideas, push each other creatively and spend time doing what we love.  

Vignettes is a three-part series of works that has developed over the past 2 years. Alongside the three-part series, we’ve included special guest choreographers and dancers, Chloe Carlson and Haley Fabrycki.  We have also invited local guest dancers JR Falcon, Alida Lamagna-Kendall, and Shelly Morgigno to join in for this dancing adventure!

In addition to being a collaborative based dance company, IMMIX is also passionate about fostering and mentoring the next generation of dancers, and has invited the students from Dance Express of Tolland to open our show!

Vignettes will premier February 28th and 29th in the Theater of the Performing Arts Blackbox, 359 Washington Street, Hartford, CT 06106.
