Immediate relief from the McKinney damage

My brother-in-law lost has lost his home and all of his belongings in the largest California wildfire of the season, the McKinney fire. As our small hometown community has extremely limited resources, he is currently without any safe place to stay or get settled while he waits to assess the damage. All nearby hotels and rentals are fully booked with emergency personnel, while those left truly in need have nowhere to go.

I’m setting up this kickstarter for those outside the area who would like to donate and help, however our number one priority is to find John and his four pugs a safe place to stay.
