LACK OF BASIC MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE
Insufficient basic medical knowledge makes parents and educators unable to recognise warning symptoms of children’s health problems. There is a lack of knowledge about appropriate reactions to diseases, and there are only few possibilities to obtain important information.

INSUFFICIENT MEDICAL CARE
Medical care in rural and severely underprivileged areas is insufficient. In the case of a medical emergency, a doctor with suitable expertise is often unavailable.

I am running the 2020 BMW Berlin Marathon in order to raise funds supporting the i-MED vision mission, and help bring EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, and DOCTORS to the those children in need.
We need to raise an initial 100€ as quickly as possible, and then meet the rest of the target before the first week of August 2020.
42,1 kilometres / 26,2 miles of sweat, pain, and tears are nothing compared to the suffering children are facing around the world. With your support I plan to not only finish the race, but also finish faster than I did 11 years ago (4 hours and 28 minutes...gonna be tough)!
