Marley Needs Surgery

Anyone who knows Marley has been lucky enough to receive some Dog kisses from her and some happy wiggles. Marley has even changed some peoples perspective on how they saw the "Pit Bull" breed because of her sweetness and of how gentle she is (her best friend is a 9 Pound Yorkie). What most of you don't know, is she has battled many Medical issues since we brought her home. The third week after bringing her home, we woke up to Marley having non-stop seizures, later to be diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of only 3 months. That's where the medical history started and it has lead us here.
For the Last 2 months, Marley has been limping on and off so we thought she had maybe pulled a muscle, but the limping was not going away. We recently took Marley to our Vet to check her leg and we just found out that she has a torn ACL and now she needs surgery in her left knee. Apparently, it is common for Pit Bulls to tear their ACL from just basic running or jumping even at a young age (Marley just turned 4 years old). I was holding off on the surgery because my Girlfriend and I just don't have that kind of money but the Vet said even though Marley doesn't show it, she is definitely in a lot of pain. Marley is now putting all her weight on her other leg which is risking the chance of the back right knee needing surgery as well.
The money we raise will go into the ACL surgery and the long road of rehab needed. If you know about this surgery, you know how stressful the recovery is. She will not be able to walk or do much for the first month and a half which is why my girlfriend and I will have to take turns staying with her at home, carrying her out of the apartment anytime she needs to go out. The full recovery on this surgery is around 3 months.
It is so awesome how pets become family members and how living in a small apartment really makes Marley feel like she is our kid. She always hangs out with us, watches TV with us and sometimes even goes out to run errands with us. They become an extension of us. So it makes it really hard when they are hurt or in need of something because they also rely on us. So please help with whatever you can because anything makes a difference and if finances are an issue even sending some prayers for Marley would be a major blessing.
