Mickey's Eye Fund

Meet Mickey! Mickey is a 9 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, who desperately needs your help! Recently, he was diagnosed with keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS or dry eyes). He has been tested, and he produces NO tears. This condition is not curable, and if it goes untreated, he'll be terribly uncomfortable and blindness will result. His eyes were blood red pools! After trying every possible prescription and treatment, his vet feels we have finally found the medication that will work! (Unfortunately, it is the most expensive.) The good news is Mickey eyes are much improved after the first prescription, but he will need to be on these drops for the rest of his life. Using a special out of state pharmacy to cut the costs, it still runs $54 for less than 3 weeks. The medication and additional vet check-ups/bills are more than I can afford alone on my small income from social security. Mickey and I are asking for your help! Having been rescued from a neglectful situation, these are the happiest and best years of his life!
