Ralph's leukemia fund

Hello to whoever is reading this, my name is Alec Reyes. My father and my mother had me when my dad was only 21 and my mom was 19. Both were young parents but they also both embraced the opportunity. My father in specific is someone I look up to deeply, he is a man that sets his mind to something and follows through, always thinks of the best for his kids, and is always trying to find something fun for us to do.  Nearly 4 years ago on January 11th, my dad and my step mom blessed our family with a little sister. The new addition changed him, it made him even more dependent on family and a man that put his family before himself. In fact he was supposed to get married on 12-13-2014. However here is the part that I, his son, would like to ask your help. My dad will be in the hospital going through chemo therapy for the next 4 weeks as he was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. He will be unable to work throughout the period and his insurance only covers a percentage of the treatment necessary. I implore you as his son to please help us during this difficult time. Our goal is to raise 10,000 dollars but we are happy with anything we can get. I ask for your prayers and support during this time and thank you to all who took the time to read this. By the way we are trying to surprise my father with this account for Christmas so if you know my father please do not tell him about our mission.

Now maybe we can get higher but in all honesty I did not expect this type of turnout. If we can get to 15,000 that would be great but the money we have now is great as well.
