Triangle kids request help to go to Nationals

We are raising funds on behalf of International Development Futbol (IDF), a small, independent U19 Academy soccer team based in the Triangle area of North Carolina (Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham, Morrisville, and Raleigh). As a registered 501c3 organization with a very clear identity (idfutbol.com), our club is passionate about offering kids an opportunity to play at a high level, irrespective of background, and achieve personal growth and success through soccer. We are currently ranked #1 in North Carolina, #16 nationally, and in the past, we have qualified for the National Cup in Colorado by winning the Carolina State Cup and also by being champions of the Southeast Regionals, both under the US Club Soccer umbrella.

 

In 2022 we have again qualified for the National Championship by winning the State Cup (Regionals yet to come!), so we are working relentlessly towards our goal of becoming the 2022 US Club Soccer National Cup Champions when we compete in Colorado in July. Being able to participate and reach our goal would be a massive accomplishment for the members of the club, as there will be college scouts present at this tournament that could give us an opportunity to go further in our soccer careers.

 

Unfortunately, playing at the tournament comes with high costs, and we want to give all of our players the opportunity to showcase their skills, irrespective of their family situation, so we are launching this appeal for contributions to help offset some of these costs of the whole squad traveling to Colorado. We are all indebted to Coach Andre and the rest of the coaching staff not just for the instruction they give us but also as the role models they represent in terms of all of us becoming better people. To reward them by competing to our true potential is our team's shared goal.
