URGENT APPEAL...........

Assalam Alaikum Muslims Everywhere,

The Islamic Center of Yorba Linda is serving 300 families in the cities of Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills, Placentia and Brea in California. In September of last year, the lease on the building we were renting for years was not renewed by the landlord. We are currently operating out of a temporary place loaned to us from a Church to make Salaah while still keeping the community together.

As we know, with difficulty comes ease. In early January we found out that a local church had put their building on sale. We jumped on the opportunity! However, we need to close escrow(contract) in a short 45 days! Our final deadline is March 22nd, 2018

We already had an emergency fundraiser to close the contract. We were able to raise about a $700,000 and are still in need of $400,000.

We are not asking you to donate a lot, instead we believe in power of numbers funding our need by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people.

We ask you to donate at least $25 and pass on this message to five or more of your friends with a personal message requesting the same. If you can support us with more, then may Allah bless you. Together as a Muslim Ummah, we can achieve this goal and be part of something beautiful for many generations to come. Help us to have a home again while striving at the same time to build your home in Jannah

Finally, brothers and Sisters, regardless of where we live, we can donate to this Islamic Center as founders and brick layers to reap the rewards for generations to come. May Allah (SWT) allow all of us, by opening our hearts and minds, to build His house: Inshallah, Allah will build a house for us in Jannah with this Sadaqah Jariyah.
