Bring Payton's Jacket Back To CHS
Donation protected
Update: We got Walter Payton's CHS letterman jacket!! I preset the bid to go up to a certain maximum amount. Either someone bid during extended bidding, or a higher bid was necessary to meet the reserve amount. The winning bid was around $4,500.

Walter Payton’s personally owned letterman’s jacket from Columbia High School in Mississippi is up for auction. Payton attended Jefferson High School for his freshman and sophomore years before integration forced the school to merge with Columbia High School. Payton became the undisputed star of the integrated team, scoring at least one touchdown in every game of his junior and senior seasons.
Let's get this jacket back where it belongs: Columbia High School. If we're able to win the jacket, it will be donated to the school.
If $7,500 is more than we need to get the jacket, we can donate the extra money to the school either as a general contribution or as a contribution to use toward properly preserving the jacket in a trophy case.
The auction is set to end tomorrow night.
