Ian’s Heart ❤️

My handsome godson, Ian Armando Jimenez Rodriguez was born on Labor Day. Two days later he was set to be discharged until the nurse heard a heart murmur. Instead of coming home to what would be a beautiful beginning to the family of three (Luis, Sheila and Ian) he was transported to All Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cardiac ICU. He was diagnosed with dextrocardia (congenital defect as his heart is abnormal in size and on the right side of his body). Other organs such as his spleen and liver are also on the wrong side of his little body. He is set to have his first of numerous heart surgeries to correct  the ventricle pathways to ensure enough blood and oxygen are flowing to his lungs and body. His parents, Luis a Chemist and Sheila, a Microbiologist are working tirelessly to keep their family afloat on this up hill battle. Please join me in assisting my good friends who became my family in this battle with their son’s heart health and numerous unexpected expenses. Most importantly keep them in your prayers please.
