Ian Bishop Could Use Our Help

Donation protected
As many of you know, Ian served two tours in Iraq. He was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and there has been speculation that it may be the result of his exposure to the burn pits that have been in the news of late. While that has yet to confirmed, the diagnosis of AML is not in doubt.
He completed his first round of chemotherapy this past week; as you might expect, it took its toll on him. We anticipate further treatments - the exact schedule will be determined by the next bone marrow biopsy, which is currently scheduled for later this week. This is a nasty and very debilitating illness in the short term and has significant potential to be a life-altering event.
Ian has been a patient in the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH since Aug. 30th. We believe he's getting the best possible care and are very grateful to the staff for all that they've done to this point.
He's expected to remain there for at least 3-4 more weeks and there is  presently no projected date when he might be able to return to work. This campaign is intended only to help defray his living expenses now and until he is able to go back to work. The total medical costs that this will eventually entail are beyond my ability to estimate and we can only hope that's it's determined to be service-related. Anything you might be able to contribute to this campaign to help out Ian would be deeply appreciated.
