Ian and Wendy's 40th Makeover

Hi Everyone.
As some of you are aware, Mum and Dad recently celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary with a small select group of friends and family. Due to size restrictions many of you were not able to be invited, despite Mum and Dad wishing you to be there.
As a part of our family gift to them for both their 40th anniversary, Christmas and even Wendy’s Birthday in January, we are - with their blessing - doing a makeover of their bedroom and a general (massive) clean up/declutter of their home.
Their entire bed set needs replacing, new (matching) furniture is required and a few other bits and pieces needed here and there. These items will make their lives much easier and make them a lot more comfortable in their latter years - Dad is 87 and Mum is 76 for those of you who haven’t kept track!
What we are after is your support and financial help. Many of you have benefitted from the generosity of Mum and Dad over the years, particularly family and close friends and this is a chance for some of you to acknowledge that generosity and give a little back.
The attached link is a ‘Go-fund-me’ set up to purchase the necessary items. What we are seeking is any contribution you care to make, large or small, all of which will be used to purchase goods. We would also ask that, if you usually give them a hamper of food, you instead contribute to this as we are often throwing out unused items previously given. If there are any funds left over, that will be given directly to them to use as they see fit.
Mum and Dad are currently away and will return just after Christmas, so we are hoping to have it all done prior to then. You can give either anonymously or identify yourself against your donation. Either way let us know so we can add the names of all who have contributed to a special card to be presented.
