A light went out in our lives this holiday season. My nephew, Dominick Anthony Gibbs, was only 8 years old and full of life, when he was unexpectedly taken from us, early Sunday morning, November 30, 2014.
On Friday, he was treated at the hospital with flu-like symptoms and released. He went to bed Saturday night, November 29th, and never woke up.
My brother has been dealt a pretty rough hand as of late. He was already suffering from another big loss when this happened. I'm not the kind of person who is comfortable asking for help, but my brother is devastated and struggling, and I am going to do everything I can for him right now. Every tiny bit is greatly appreciated in this time of need.
